collection of generac generators

We can provide your home or small business with Generac automatic stand by air-cooled generator power or Generac portable generator power. Automatic standby systems can manage power for your whole house with a Smart Transfer Switch and power management, or we can select critical loads and just focus on those needs with a pre-wired automatic transfer panel. These automatic standby generators work with Propane or Natural Gas. This system is completely automatic and power is restored to your home in less than a minute from when the utility fails.

When utility power is restored, automatically, the power transfers back to utility and the Generac Standby generator will automatically shut itself down. We are teamed up with a couple of propane companies to give you options for propane tanks to lease or buy. If you already have propane, then we will make sure that your tank will take care of all the propane needs including the generator. If you have natural gas, your local plumber can usually run the line needed to connect to the generator and verify the gas meter is the correct size.

Generac Portable generators focus usually on critical loads with the use of a Manual Transfer Panel and a power inlet box on the outside of your home. Sizes for the portable units vary, with the options of both pull start and electric start. These generators use gasoline as a fuel source.

Installations needs vary for each situation, so let us help you decide what will fit your needs best when the utility company power fails.

With your generator installation, you can count on  all local, state and national electrical codes will be followed.  The result will be a safe, reliable installation you can count on when the power goes out.  After the installation, you will be shown how easy it is to manage and operate your back up power system.

It is important to perform Maintenance on your air cooled generator as specified in the Service Schedule for proper generator operation and to ensure that the generator complies with the applicable emission standards for the duration of its useful life. Service and repairs may be performed by any qualified service person or Balanced Electric can provide this service to you.  Additionally, emissions critical maintenance must be performed as scheduled in order for the Emissions Warranty to be valid.  Emissions critical maintenance consists of servicing the air filter and spark plugs in accordance with the Service Schedule. The controller will prompt for Schedule A or Schedule B maintenance to be performed. Schedule A maintenance consists of the oil, oil filter and tune-up. Schedule B maintenance includes the oil, oil filter, tune-up, air cleaner, spark plug(s) and valve clearance.
